“Many of Oleana’s designs are inspired of the rich Norwegian folk costume tradition, but we always try to make new modern designs, not copying the old artifacts. Many of our designs have a long history and are prime examples of how the “cultural rivers” flow across the countries and continents.

Oleana’s collection always consists of new designs along with those that have been in the collection for many years. This constantly creates opportunities for new combinations and variations. Many of the garments can be worn for both everyday and more formal occasions, depending on the accessories.”
